I am driven by the intriguing question that often catches journalists in their first moments of work. Why sign up to be a said, "Journalist"?
From the start of my education, I primarily took a liking to the english subject. It pleased me to see how my words attribute to how the brain takes in and reacts to certain information. When people pick up my writings or read my posts, it is interesting to see their reaction, in addition to seeing if they gained anything from what I said. That brings me to the reason why I want to find out my importance in the developing world before entering the realm of journalism. In the future, it is my hope that I will discover how one headline post can influence an entire demographic.
Words make up our entire world, both in verbal communication and in technology. They're the formula to our captions on pictures, and tweets on Twitter. With all of this power, comes a person who is on the front-lines of spreading words, a journalist. Persons in this profession have the power to express their opinions, motions, sanctions on almost any piece of material that gets sent to the newsroom.
Could journalists be the most powerful human beings in the world? I think so.
