I am sorry I don’t believe you when you say you love me and everyone else no matter our skin color, political opinions or sexual orientations and then stand behind a man who does anything but love.
Your overconfidence in this being God’s will diminishes all the faith I have in a God. Why would a God allow people to live in a state of constant consternation for the next four years?
I am sorry I don’t believe you when you say this is God’s will because as humans we have free will we get to exercise, and you made your will clear, and your actions spoke louder than your words of love.
I am sorry I don’t believe you when you say “this happens every time; People think it’s the end of the world but the sun always rises in the morning.” The sun may rise in the morning, but for some it will only rise to cast light on the fact that they will now wake up daily with the fear of losing their healthcare, right to practice religion, right to choose or even members of their family.
So I am sorry if I don’t believe your superficial words of comfort in the midst of this fear.
I'm sorry I don't believe you when you say you're trying to see things from my point of view, because it usually ends with you interrupting me to explain what the "correct" way to look at it *actually* is or to point out a flaw in my beliefs.
I will however believe and hold on to the small bit of dwindling hope I have in humanity: the fact that when this is told a hundred years from now, I was on the right side of history.
