I'm Not Even a Star Wars Fan, But I Still Watch The Mandalorian

Even if you're not the hugest fan of the Star Wars series, don't knock the new show until you've tried it.

I'm Not Even a Star Wars Fan, But I Still Watch The Mandalorian

So, my family got Disney Plus at the end of November, and I was super excited to watch some old, nostalgic movies. I was scrolling through The Aristocats, The Little Mermaid, Toy Story, and other Disney movies until I stumbled upon something pretty interesting. Disney Plus has all of the Star Wars movies in addition to a new show called "The Mandalorian."

Now, hear me out: I don't really dig Star Wars. The original trilogy is pretty good because it's a classic hero story. All the movies after that, though, just seem like they are stretched a bit too far. The actors aren't as good and they don't have that nostalgic 1980's feel like the original movies do. When I saw this show, though, I decided to give it a chance in hopes that it would be better than the recent movies.

The Mandalorian is about a man named Mando. Mandalorians are supposed to be the greatest warriors in the entire galaxy, so obviously, Mando is pretty good at what he does, which is bounty hunting. He is originally part of a guild that works together to collect bounties and complete missions.

One bounty mission goes wrong, though, when Mando finds he is hunting a little green creature. You may have seen posts on Instagram or Facebook about "Baby Yoda." Well, Mando just couldn't let him go. The entire series so far is based around Mando keeping "Baby Yoda," or "The Child" safe from other bounty hunters.

As I said, I am not the biggest fan of Star Wars or any movies like that, but The Mandalorian is for sure worth a try. It has a good plot/ origin story for the protagonist, and the cutest little green guy ever. 10/10 would recommend!

A Deep Dive Into Taylor Swift’s Albums: 1989 (Taylor’s Version) Edition
Edited by Hailey Hastings

I am fully emersed into diving deep into every single Taylor Swift album, which I do on my own all the time, but wanted to do it in a way where I am sharing what a special discography she has. I feel like 1989 is the perfect place to start, it's an era that changed everything, and will always be an album people automatically think of when you say "Taylor Swift."
