I'm Mentally Ill

I dont like the way adults treat kids like they're idiots

I dont like the way those with less opportunities to learn are blamed for their deficits

I dont like the way fault is placed on an agent and not its environment

I dont like the way individuals are manipulated without their knowledge or consent

I dont like the way the disadvantaged are the ones taken advantage of the most often

I dont like the way blind civility is directed towards authority without question

I dont like the way those with a platform forget to use their voice for progress


I want to create

I want to live

I want to enjoy the shit God put around us before I run out of time


But I cant.


I have a mental illness,

and the problem is I understand too much,

and tell too many people about it.

Its not a mental illness

I'm just too stupid to learn how to keep my mouth shut.

Where's my meds.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here.
