When we’re having a bad day or a tough week, we tend to forget about all the little things in life that can make it so incredible. Some things so little that you wouldn’t have thought of before reading this, some things so small that we take for granted that others would give anything for.
So if you need a reminder of the simple things that you are fortunate of experiencing, please keep reading.

I know these seem silly but we spend so much of our lives stressing over the what if’s and the things we don’t have, we often forget how lucky we are to have what we have and to feel the things we feel. For example, when someone is super hungry, they often say, “Oh my, I am starving,” but many of us who say that don’t actually know what it means to be physically starving, whereas there are many people who do know that feeling and sadly experience it frequently. We’re all guilty of it, including myself.
Someone recently told me that we forget about our senses -- we take them for granted. What we need to do more of is appreciate the fact that we have the ability to breathe in fresh air, smell different scents, taste different foods and hear different sounds.
My point is this: the next time something bad happens, try to remind yourself of all the good that surrounds you. Maybe, just maybe, that will help make the weight a little lighter.
