**Please know before reading this that you may need to grab a box of tissues and a stuffed animal to hold, because this is one of the most emotional pieces I've ever written. Also, my mom cries at puppy commercials, so this disclaimer is really for her. Love you mom.
Dear Momma,
Please believe me when I say I have thought of 1 million different approaches on how to write this, but usually what happens is I just go-with-the-flow. I wanted each and every detail to be perfect this time. I was trying to plan it out because that's how you are. You know and pay attention to the details and amaze me with how much you can sense about me. For this though, I couldn't plan it. I think it's better I didn't. I hope you enjoy this, and remember it will always be here and so will I.
Well, this is no ordinary letter-to-mom, because you are no "ordinary" mom, by any means. You go beyond what I think is in the handbook and you always have. Because you loved me. I don't think there's a superwoman out there you wouldn't beat! You are my inspiration for everything and I hope to be half the woman and mother you are some day. Seriously, you are beyond a doubt the strongest woman I know and I am so lucky that I call you my mom. I've had more than enough fun between girls days, getting our hair done and mani-pedis. Maybe one day even dress shopping. We'll see!
Everything that has happened to you in your life is generally for God's reason. But I do not agree that any of the medical issues you face or that the pain you suffer is fair. I mean it when I say I wish I could give you a break and take the pain away. I wish you were able to do all of the things you would love to do. But none of this changes the fact that you get to be my mom all day, every day, and I honestly don't know where I'd be without you. You wanted to be a mom so badly and it's so obvious with the way you love Quinn and me. It's one of my favorite things about you, other than your ability to make some of the best food I've tasted on this earth!
You really don't get enough credit for how truly amazing you are, and I can tell you how much I love you but you know that there aren't enough words to describe how incredible you are. I'm blessed and honored to be your daughter. You have spoiled me with love and affection my whole life and I can't imagine a day without you.
Your strength is inspiring, and you are perfect to me. I wouldn't want anyone else; I only want you.
I love you with all my heart and can't wait to see more smiles on your face.
XOXO
