Plaid skirts and tucked in shirts. Scary nuns and morning prayers. Squeezing the life out of the hands of the person next to you in church during the Our Father. School mass on half days. 15 years later and nothing has ever come close in comparison to the eternity of the Stations of the Cross.

Whether you go to church or survived all those years at a Catholic school, these memes will make sense, make you laugh, and then make you pray for forgiveness.

1. When you compare your ashes after Mass

2. "Peace be with you/May the force be with you"

3. AKA, getting baptized

4.

5. Yay?

6.

7. You know you went to a Catholic school if this seems like a perfectly acceptable place to send your child

8. Which Catholic are you?

9. A(H)-MEN!

10. If you went to a Catholic school, this was the same class picture every year, just with everyone a year older (even the kid in the top right corner)

11.

12. If there was ever a Sunday to show up to church, you better make sure it's the one when Jesus has been resurrected

13.

14.

If you laughed at any of these, your penance is to thank God for having a sense of humor.
