It's easy to get caught up. Our culture puts pressure on us to act, look, and be a certain way. Our schedules are hectic. We have to make good grades, balance a social life, and learn how to be "adults", yet cry because we miss our dog at home a little too much. The pressure is intense, but in the midst of the craziness, we need to take a step back and look at the big picture. Isn't that what life is all about anyways? Take a moment to relax, take a deep breath, and put things in perspective.
God's plan will prevail. Trust in this and be at peace.
There is at least one person on this earth who would die for you.
Happiness is a choice.
Fall weather is coming. And that means one too many Pumpkin Spice Lattes.
You are so loved.
You WILL get a job and you WILL be successful.
You are powerful, and strong, and capable.
Don't sweat that one professor or that one test. Life goes on.
Tomorrow is a new day - cherish it.
The weekend is almost here.
So many people wish they could have your problems, insecurities, and stressors. No matter what, it could always be worse.
Despite how much you think about it, you are not defined by the past.
Every night, someone thinks about you before they go to sleep.
There's never a bad time for ice cream, Nutella, or a cookie. Stop feeling guilty. Treat yo'self.
When you look in the mirror and immediately criticize, understand you are your own worst critic, and you are more beautiful than you'll ever know.
There's just 13 more Monday's until Christmas. THIRTEEN.
Your dog thinks you are the most awesome person on the planet - believe them.
You are smarter than you think. Regardless of your GPA.
Cast your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.
So when things get crazy and life seems to win, remember that perspective is key. Because we all need a little reminder sometimes.
