Top 5 Places To Visit During Summer Vacation

It is around that time when the idea of school begins to sound dreadful, and the thought of summer is more appealing. Summer vacation is about enjoying the sun with friends and family, trying new things, going to the beach, or sightseeing in your favorite state. Whatever you like, the monthlong vacation is your opportunity to do it. Summer break is about freeing your mind and enjoying months without papers due and lectures to attend. I believe every student should experience one crazy-fun summer break, so here are some great places to visit over the summer!

1. Miami Beach

According to travel.usnews.com, the top city to visit during spring break is Miami Beach. Since it is April, and almost summer vacation, consider going there this summer! The city is full of various options for nightlife such as clubs, and during the day, ladies can get that tan at the beach.

2. Cancun, Mexico

Cancun, Mexico, is second on the list. It is affordable, visitors can swim with dolphins, and some resorts even have an all-inclusive package so you can eat all you want! I know this from personal experience.

3. The Bahamas

Next on the list is the Bahamas. The Bahamas is number three also because of the affordability for tourists. A couple of things to do on the island is visit the Marine Habitat at Atlantis and Cabbage Beach.

4. Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Coming in at number four is Cabo San Lucas. If you enjoy golfing, this island will be perfect for you. There is also a beach called Lover’s Beach and if you’re like me, swimming in the ocean is intimidating because of sharks. However, this beach has been considered safe compared to other beaches that occasionally have rough waves, such as Playa del Amor.

5. Maui

Last but not least, number five is the beautiful island of Maui, Hawaii. If you are a person who is down for adventure, then the Haeleakala volcano is a top attraction that you must see, and a Luau is a cultivating experience for first timers.

All in all, remember, summer vacation is your months-long freedom from papers and lectures; try not to waste it away. Live it up!

Dear Mom,

You took care of me and my brothers our entire lives and you still continue to! I will not be able to truly grasp all of the hard work that you put into this family until I create my own one day. But, I know that there are plenty of times I forgot to give you a simple thank you or an appreciative smile. I thank you for everything that you have done for me and will continue to do for me. Here are some examples of those times where you had my back and I forgot to pat your back for saving me:

College is hard. As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.

Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.
