If The "Big Brother 19" Cast Were Characters On "Friends"

Recently, thousands of people have been talking about the crazy cast on the latest season of Big Brother on CBS. If you're anything like me, you've already fallen in love with some of the houseguests, and definitely decided that you aren't a fan of others. Regardless of whether or not I like all of the houseguests, I think this season's drama makes for some fantastic television.

I got to thinking - who would this year's cast be if they were Friends characters? So, disregarding their interpersonal relationships in the house and any information about them from the outside world, here are the characters who I believe align the best with each houseguest solely on a personality level.

Disclaimer: This is all in good fun, not trying to throw disrespect at any BB19 houseguests or Friends characters.

1. Rachel - Jessica

I chose Jessica for Rachel because I think that both of these girls are often solely looked at for their external beauty only; however, they are also both very independent thinkers.

2. Ross - Dominique

I chose Dominique for Ross because they are both extremely intelligent, and they both have very unfortunate luck - Dom with being evicted so early, and Ross with all of his divorces.

3. Monica - Elena

I chose Elena for Monica because they are both extremely strong women who are undoubtably relentless.

4. Chandler - Matt

I chose Matt for Chandler because they are both very fun guys who love to joke around. Also, Matt and Raven say that they are keeping their showmance "low-key and without labels," a lot like Chandler with his romantic endeavors in the first few seasons.

5. Joey - Mark

I chose Mark for Joey because they are both lovable, big teddy bears.

6. Phoebe - Jillian

I chose Jillian for Phoebe because they are both super sweet, and definitely always in their own little worlds. I was definitely sad to see Jillian go so early - she was so sweet and I liked her from the start.

7. Janice - Raven

I chose Raven for Janice solely because of the laugh. They both have extremely intense and loud, eruptive laughs.

8. Paolo - Cody

I chose Cody for Paolo because they are both very hated by their peers. Cody has been labeled "Public Enemy #1" since the first week of the game after his maverick move. Paolo was hated by the gang for obvious reasons.

9. Mr. Treeger - Christmas

I chose Christmas for Mr. Treeger because they are both quite intimidating on the outside, but on the inside they are kind and truly want to help others out.

10. Mike - Jason

I chose Jason for Mike because they are both extremely sweet, and very funny. You can never forget Mike's bit on his first real date with Phoebe when he played the air piano; it was hilarious. Jason is a rodeo clown, so he definitely also does some hilarious stuff.

11. Richard - Paul

I chose Paul for Richard because they are both portrayed as wise characters - Paul because he is a BB Vet, and Richard because of his age. The two are very admired.

12. Gunther - Cameron

I chose Cameron for Gunther because we don't really know much about each of the characters, but we know that they are both very nice and polite.

13. Jack (Ross & Monica's Dad) - Kevin

I chose Kevin for Jack Geller because they're both quirky older guys that says hilarious things out of cluelessness. You've gotta love them both.

14. Ben - Ramses

I chose Ramses for Ben because he is one of the youngest cast members, and the other houseguests definitely always took him under their wing (in a loving manner) because of his age. Specifically Kevin did this; he really tried loved Ramses and taught him a lot. This reminds me of Ben, Ross and Carol's son, who everybody babysat and loved. Both are extremely lovable characters.

15. Charlie - Alex

I chose Alex for Charlie because both of these women are extremely intelligent and definitely viewed as somebody who deserves respect. That being said, if she made it to final 3 with Paul and Jason, I have a feeling she would take Paul to the end. She never verbally committed to either of the two guys, but she said in a conversation that she wouldn't even make a final 2 deal with Jason, her closest ally throughout the entire game. That kind of flipping is like what Charlie did to Ross with her former boyfriend. I like Alex, but I don't know who she will remain loyal to if the final 3 situation comes out to be Whistle Nut, Mr. Friendship, and her. I can't accuse her of my suspicion because it is solely a suspicion, but I'll keep my eye on it.

16. Frank Jr. - Josh

I chose Josh for Frank Jr. because both of these guys are young and have a very wacky sense of humor and demeanor that can get them in trouble, but can also sometimes be part of why they are liked.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.

One Book Made Me Question Existence In Its Entirety

"The Stranger" by Albert Campus touches upon many heavy elements... but not in the way you expect. Although it touches upon the aspects of death and love, it also deals with a hidden philosophy similar to that of nihilism.

The story follows the short life events of Meursault, a Frenchman whose carelessness for his actions eventually ends him in jail and dependent on a jury of people to judge the ethicality of his decision and the punishment that he deserves. He eventually gets the death penalty and all throughout he is nonchalant and almost apathetic towards his situation. He finally snaps when the prison sends a priest to him to absolve him of his sins and to cajole him in confessing to the lord.
