If "High School Musical" Character's Were In Greek Life

The other night my friends and I decided to stay in and watch movies instead of going out, so of course we decided to go with "High School Musical." As we watched, we talked about normal HSM viewing topics: Sharpay's hair, Ryan's elaborate hat collection, and of course how hot Troy is. But somehow we wandered on to the topic of fraternity's/sorority's and which character would be in which house. So here is what we decided. ATTENTION: this may be more accurate for you if you attend college in the south.

1. Taylor McKessie: Alpha Gamma Delta

Not only is Taylor spunky and cute, but she's also a total brainiac! She seems like the type who would be a Chemistry or Engineering major, and still manage to make the dean's list. And she's rocking hoop earrings, which really takes a special kind of girl.

2. Chad Danforth: Pi Kappa Phi

Chad is the take charge type, but he is also Troy's side kick. He knows he's the big man on campus, and sometimes takes it a little too far. He's the guy at the party who stands on a raised surface and admires the room, or the guy who takes his beer pong win a little too seriously.

3. Sharpay Evan's: Phi Mu

Just look at all that pink... she's a queen and she knows it.

4. Ryan Evan's: Delta Tau Delta

Sure he's a bit frilly, but he means well and he's an all around great guy. Everyone loves Ryan and confides in him in times of need. No doubt Ryan would get the dancing started at an awkward party.

5. Kelsi Nielsen: Alpha Omicron Pi

Kelsi is quiet sweetheart who everyone loves, but sometimes gets looked over. Although she is shy her personality shines when she is around her friends. Kelsi is very talented and involved in extracurricular activities. Also, when she throws on some mascara and lets her hair down she's a real stunner!

7. Troy Bolton: Kappa Alpha

The big man on campus. Troy is the basketball stud who can apparently do theater and he has the hottest girlfriend. Where does that put Troy? None other than the top of the pyramid with all the other KA's.

8. Gabriella Montez: Chi Omega

Gabriella is a "freaky genius girl" but she is also completely adorable. She gives off a kind of granola vibe but not in an annoying way. She's shy but can have a really good time once she's in her element and she seems like the type who would do a lot of community service.

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.

10 Things Only Equestrians Understand

Yes, it IS a sport. Yes, I fall all the time. No, I do not ride in jeans with a cowgirl hat on.

Growing up I have always wanted to own a horse. My grandparents own a well known equestrian facility in Georgia, so I have been riding since I was born. A bond between a person and their horse is a bond so strong that it cannot be broken. Everywhere I went I wanted to be around horses, even forcing my family to go on trail rides during vacations. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember has taught me great responsibility, as well as 14 things that all equestrians can relate to.

College is super hard. Between working, studying, and having a social life, it feels like a struggle to just keep afloat.

I understand. When you feel like your drowning and there's no way to stay afloat I understand that it feels like everyone else is doing just fine. I understand all the frustration, long nights in the library, and that feeling that you want to just throw in the towel. I understand that sometimes it's too hard to get out of bed because your brain is already filled with too much information to remember. I understand because I am also feeling pretty burnt out.

No Matter How Challenging School Gets, You Have To Put Your Health First — A Degree Won't Mean Anything If You're Dead

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.
