Have you ever stopped and thought about how different sororities and fraternities are besides the whole gender aspect? We are all apart of the Greek organization, bettering our communities and ourselves and being part of something bigger than anything we have ever known, but what happens when we are not saving the world is completely different.
So let's say in a parallel universe fraternity men acted like sorority women -- these are some of the trends the boys would pick up on.
Spirit jerseys.
The guys have apparel, but nothing this eccentric. Imagine seeing the guys walking around campus with their fraternity names bolded across their backs. Not even just spirit jerseys, but what if the guys had half the apparel sorority women have. I think we get a new shirt for every single event, philanthropy, or day of the week there is.
Recruitment.
Imagine if the fraternities did recruitment the way we did, wait; imagine if they even understood how recruitment worked. The cheers, the clapping, the door chants -- then having timed conversations with a stranger, sober, about what their major is, favorite color, blah, blah, blah while trying to figure out if this is who they want in their organization. What do guys even talk about?
Throwing what you know.
Could that even work with half of the letters they have in their names? Come on, guys, throw what ya' know! Backs turned to the camera and what might look like a gang sign above the head for a picture perfect Insta.
Wine.
Instead of the massive amounts of beer, it is wine. From pink moscato to a dry chardonnay that is all there is to drink while gossiping over what happened the previous weekend. Don't forget fuzzy slippers and one-sy pajamas for a comfy night in.
Crafting.
Something the sorority women are well known for -- from paddles to whatever they can find at the local Hob Lob, but when a guy crafts does he put in as much effort as a girl crafting for her future little does? Probably not. I will admit some guys do have some amazing creative crafting skills, but the majority of them do not want to take the effort into crafting. But I can't blame them -- my crafting skills are really awful.
