9. Life seriously does not come with instructions.

I wish someone would have harped this to me. What you envision, what you think will happen and what actually happens are totally different things.

8. It's just you.

Whether it be success or failure, that result falls on you. It's no one else's fault if you aren't where you wanna be. There is no relative to hold your hand and walk you through everything in life, nor should there be. Ever heard that saying "life is what you make it"? Well, there's the word you in there for a reason.

7. Devote some time for yourself.

Life can be exhausting. You may people please and take care of every one else, but who is taking care of you? If you allow your balloon to fall because you're trying to keep everyone else's floating eventually your balloon will fall. So will the rest of theirs.

6. Have a back bone.

People feel they know best, and they might. For themselves. Please refer to this https://www.theodysseyonline.com/please-stop-pushing-your-beliefs-on-others for more on that.

5. There will always be good and bad.

Life is stressful. It doesn't end but it does go away briefly. It's about balance. Where there is bad there is good, ugly and beautiful, awful and incredible. That applies to every moment of your life. If there wasn't sunshine you wouldn't appreciate the stars.

4. Your heart will get broken. Multiple times.

It doesn't always have to be from a significant other. It could be a death,a loss of job, you didn't get the house you wanted. Your heart breaks. It doesn't always heal. I can promise you that regardless of how bad it hurts eventually it will get better. When you feel like you can't go on you will wake up the next day. Which is proof enough you can conquer that storm and keep going.

3. Manage your money.

Seriously. I don't think I have to explain further. Don't mess up those credit cards.

2. You don't have to have it all figured out.

People change. I say it all the time. We go through major phases in life. Each phase will bring something different out of you or it may not. What you wanted at 18 won't be what you want at 21 or 25.

1. Always remember..

Everything is going to be okay. Find the positive in every situation because negative thoughts lead to negative actions. Be kind to all species of life. Love with all you have. A little patience goes a long way. People may bend but we don't break. Somewhere out there is someone who is praying for you to come into their life. You are amazing and worth so much more so don't ever settle.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
