Everyone thinks they know their major, but do you really know it until you know what fast food restaurant you should be eating at?

1. Hospitality and Tourism - Chick-Fil-A

Every time you walk into a Chick-Fil-A you get that warm smile and "my pleasure." In hospitality and tourism majors, they have to be able to have that chipper attitude and make their "customer" happy just like Chick-Fi-La does every single time.

2. Education - Subway

I know this may seem odd at first, but hear me out. Education majors are always having to come up with fresh and new ways to teach just like how Subway is always serving fresh food and coming up with new sandwichs. I mean their slogan is "Eat Fresh."

3. Psychology - Taco Bell

Psychology majors are always having to come up with new experiments and research ideas. Taco Bell is always producing new crazy taco creations that are very unexpected. I believe both Taco Bell and Psych majors have that edge that pushes them to the next level to try new and unexpected ideas.

4. Music - Zaxby's

Music has to blend and make sense. Just like in Music where the sound has to blend, Zaxby's flavors blend together just right. The crunchy chicken dipped in that homemade Zax Sauce with a side of seasoned crinkle cut fries. Wow, you couldn't ask for anything more. Everything seems to be in harmony with Music Majors and Zaxby's.

5. Business - McDonald's

Business Majors are normally very straightforward and they don't beat around the bush. You get what you see. Very similar to when eating at McDonald's you get what you pay for. Nothing more, nothing less. It tastes ok and is a great price.

6. Journalism - Jack in the Box

In Journalism, you have all sorts of people reporting all sorts of news and sometimes it's really good and sometimes it is really bad. Jack in the Box is very similar where they have a large selection, from tacos to burgers, and sometimes it tastes really good, but it is just as likely to taste like garbage.

7. Marine Biology - Captain D's

They both work with sealife...Hahaha just kidding.

8. Mathematics - Little Ceasers

Little Ceasers works with geometry every day when cutting their slices of pizza. They have to get that accurate slice. Mathematics majors also work with geometry like this and numbers.

9. Engineering - Burger King

Have you seen those chicken fries? You have to have quite the brain to combine those two amazing things and make them taste amazing. Engineers have to think up new design plans for their major and so does Burger King.

10. History - Sonic

Made popular in the 50's roller skating waitress' at drive-in fast food restaurants were extremely popular. Sonic goes back to that time and serves their customers the exact same way in the present. History majors have to know all about the past and incorporate it into the present day just like how Sonic is incorporating these old ideas into their everyday routine.

In conclusion, some of your favorite fast food chains are very similar to these college majors.

eye roll

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

Yify

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.

15 Things That Happen On Your Birthday

Do you have a small get-together or throw a big bash?

birthday party

My birthday has never been my favorite holiday. I've found that I'm more excited to celebrate my friends' and family members' birthdays more than my own. I don't like being the center of attention, so I usually celebrate over dinner with a small group of family and friends. This way, I can enjoy myself naturally without feeling like I have to entertain everyone and make sure they are satisfied. In the past when I've had large parties, I was so nervous that people weren't perfectly content that I didn't enjoy myself at my own celebration.
