1. University of Alabama - Dean

Being one of the most attractive guys on paradise, likewise to Alabama students, Dean does not shy away from getting what he wants- which sometimes is the best of both worlds. Being known for constantly getting girls, similar to that of which Alabama wins almost every football game, he starts to become despised by some.

2. University of Arkansas - Raven

Being an Arkansas native herself, Raven is down to earth and has true southern hospitality likewise to those who attend Arkansas. She never misses an opportunity for some good southern cookin'.

3. Auburn University - Derek

Just like Auburn students, Derek is a sweetheart who keeps to himself. Although he has had some losses in the past, he is resilient and keeps a good attitude. We need more schools like Derek.

4. University of Florida - Alexis

When people think of the University of Florida, they are reminded of Gators. Whats like a gator? A dolphin! Known for an extravagant campus in Gainesville, you will find awesome people like Alexis aka the dolphin trainer, who are hardworking individuals, but also know how to have a good time.

5. University of Georgia - Ben Z

Just like Georgia fans, Ben Z loves his dogs. With a constant good attitude, Uga is like Ben Z. because they are both passionate and very smart. And there's no place like home; many students consider Athens to be their home even when they graduate, and Ben will always choose home (with his dogs) over anything else.

6. University of Kentucky - Kristina

Being a native (kinda) from Kentucky, It's needless to say that Kristina is a take-home-to-mom kinda person, just like the students at Kentucky. They enjoy keeping a low profile, but still maintain to have fun, just like Kristina did when dealing with Dean's BS.

7. University of Mississippi - Corrine

Likewise to the Ole Miss head coach, Corrine hasn't been shy of controversy around a sexual altercation. Regardless of what happens, Corrine still enjoys having a good time even when times get tough, which Ole Miss students do as well.

8. Mississippi State - Alex

Alex, bless your heart sweetie. Just like Mississippi State, Alex is looked over almost constantly and doesn't seem as televised as other SEC schools. I will say though, they sure do breed attractive men.

9. University of Missouri - Demario

With reports of racial tension at Missouri, Demario isn't a stranger to this. After the scandal happened where he was wrongly accused, many BIP fans started coming at him regarding his race. Just like Demario, Missouri is not defined by these hurtful remarks and remains as strong as ever, if not better.

10. University of South Carolina - Christen aka Scallop Fingers

The University of South Carolina is one of the most underrated schools of the SEC. Often overshadowed by Clemson University, they actually have a pretty solid foundation. Christen is made fun of and not taken seriously at first, but soon earns the respect from the others, and actually goes on the most dates near the end of paradise.

11. University of Tennessee - Danielle

Not originally a southern belle, but moving to Nashville to pursue a modeling career, Danielle resembles someone who can appreciate the south. University of Tennessee students come from all over the country, but truly love their school.

12. Texas A&M - Amanda

Although Amanda is young, she has two kids from her previous marriage. Most people think that would make her seem 'less desirable', but she ends up with some of the hottest guys from the seasons. Likewise to Amanda, Texas A&M might be considered to be placed in "the west", but the southeast still welcomes them with open arms (for the most part).

13. Vanderbilt - Taylor

Being probably one of the smartest contestants on Bachelor in Paradise, Taylor is similar to Vanderbilt because of their strong academics. Although they have an average football team, Vandy is one of the hardest schools to get into in the south because of academics, and Taylor is one of the hardest to get to know by others as a contestant.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies.
