American Girl Dolls were our lives when we were kids and now that we have grown up and in college are majors, are our lives. But what would happen if we combined a part of our childhood hero and our college majors? You get something like this...

Kit Kitterage - Communications

Kit would be the perfect communications major due to her love for writing and all things journalism. Kit is lively and always wants to go on a great adventure to write about. She is hardworking and does whatever it takes to get the job done and to do what is right.

Felicity- Law

With Felicity growing up during the American Revolution she was always standing up for what is right. She is always seeking justice in her life, which would make her the perfect pre-law major, criminology or criminal justice major. She is brave and is determined to always do what is right.

Molly-Fashion

First of all, there are more majors to fashion than just design. Molly would be the perfect fashion major because she loves all things glamor. Molly could easily make a store look amazing, be a buyer for a company, style cute outfits, photograph a photo shoot and that's just the beginning. Molly always looks stylish and is always looking for inspiration for her style.

Kirsten- Nursing

Kirsten is a nursing major at heart. She is kind, gentle, wise, and most importantly, she loves helping people. Kirsten, like most nursing majors, wants to lend a helping hand when one is needed.

Kaya- Agriculture

When it comes to Agriculture, there are many majors that fall under this category. Kaya would be great at all of them. Since she is Native American, she knows the Earth and how to take care. She could be an agriculture education major and would be the perfect teacher to make people aware of how to raise crops just as she did. Teaching is not the only thing she could do. She could do agriculture business, agriculture economics or even agricultural engineering.

Samantha- Psychology

Samantha would be a great psychology major because she asks a lot of questions and is curious about the world about her. Samantha is known to question the status quo and wants to why the status quo is the way that it is. Samantha always has a lot of ideas and has a lot of imagination.

Josefina- Education

Josefina is very kind, selfless, empathetic, caring a good listener and she wants to use her kindness to help others. Josefina is also optimistic and would be great at seeing the best in her students.

College is a crazy, beautiful, amazing whirlwind. It is highly popularized in television and movies, but not necessarily in the most accurate way. Yes, there's frats, dingy dorms, raging house parties—but there's also a lot that people fail to mention.

1. If you thought that you knew how to study, you're wrong.

All of your classes aren't taught every day, so professors aren't on your case constantly about reading and memorizing material. Once you get back that "questionable" first exam grade, you'll kick it into high gear and figure out what works for you

Girl With Bleached Hair
Tumblr

I've been a bleach blonde for over a year now, and let me tell you, it is a lifestyle. More hair appointments, longer showers, and special shampoo. But it is totally worth it!

1. Mentally preparing yourself to convince your hair dresser that white is the way to go.

2. Or the anxiety of what could go wrong by bleaching your hair at home.

3. You could either become a ginger

4. Or a pixie

5. The face you make in the mirror when you take off your towel to unveil the perfect white strands.

6. Taking a million selfies the day you bleached it, because you know your roots will be back in literally 2 days.

7. Having to get bangs or a big chop because your hair is so damaged.

8. Having orange highlights in between touch-ups.

9. Going out for a drink afterwards to debut your updated look.

Despite the struggles, you love your platinum blonde hair! You make sure Instagram knows it, too. You don't need a filter, because the color is flawless by itself!

I've been at this college thing for almost three and a half years, and while I thought that high school was truly the lowest point of my existence, I'm beginning to realize that it was a walk in the park. Like, I miss the days when the biggest white lie I told my parents was my made up excuse about being late for fourth period. These days, the white lies are a tad more complex, and as ashamed as I am to admit it, I've definitely told a few of these.
