Shopping for Christmas is easy for most people, but the real challenge lies in what to put in the stocking stuffers.

1) Candles

Tip: you know it's a great candle if you want to eat it. The best ones smell edible!

2) Concert Tickets

Buy your friend a ticket to their favorite band or artist!!! They don't even have to be the best seats, but they'll appreciate the fact that you know them so well :)

3) A REALLY Comfortable Blanket

You CANNOT beat the blankets on sale around Christmas - they are definitely from another, more comfy world!

4) A SUPER Soft Robe

How 'bout this: a SET of a robe and the aforementioned blanket???

5) Socks

This goes under the "gifts I wish I appreciated when I was younger because wow, I need it now" tab of this thing called my life. Remember, you can never have too many socks...

6) Jewelry

Just sayin'

7) Bath Bombs

8) Coloring Book Set

I know we're all "adults" or something, but coloring is the biggest stress reliever. And, college is definitely up there in the Top 5 of the "Most Stressful Years of Your Life" list, what with trying to decide what to do for the rest of your life and whatnot...

9) Journal

While you're deciding what kind of journal to get, take a minute and admire this gif of Harry Styles journaling.

10) Classic Board Games

Hopefully the person you're giving a board game to isn't a huge sore loser like Stephen...

11) Coffee Mugs

All that matters is that the mug is pretty, Buddy.

12) Movies

Whether or not your friends' favorite movie is on Netflix, get them a physical copy. It shows them how much you know them and care about them. Plus, after the gift-opening, you can just pop it in and watch it with them!

Happy Shopping, everybody!!

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
