February 13th, Galentine’s Day, is one of the best, little known holidays, a day for ladies to celebrate the ladies in their lives with facemasks, movies, and food. Here are some ideas to make this Main Line Galentine’s Day the best yet…

1. Order Off Caviar

Caviar serves the Greater Philly Area and can bring anything from Snap Pizza to Azie sushi straight to your dorm. Definitely skip the Spit dinner on the 14th and download the Caviar app to start off the night right.

2. Stock Up On Face Masks

Listen, it doesn’t have to be expensive to be fun. There is only a certain level of fancy that can be achieved in the in-terrible-need-of-renovation Stanford bathrooms. So, stick to the $4 peel-offs from CVS and get enough for all the girls in your hall, because you know they’ll want to join in.

3. Get Insomnia Cookies Delivered

Although I’m partial to Hope’s Cookies, the fact that Insomnia delivers to your dorm in usually just 30 minutes is hard to pass up. I recommend the 12 pack and definitely include the red velvet and jumbo s’mores. YUM

4. Find The Biggest TV

We all have the one friend whose room is the spot to hang out because of their big TV and Netflix account. Pull up the latest Bachelor episode and proceed to imitate Krystal’s voice for the entire episode.

The snow makes people forget how to drive, its cold, the roads are bad, and chances are, you will be spending a lot more money than you do during the other months of the year. If you’re from the Midwest, it seems to be that winter lasts for what feels like forever. But despite the struggles that winter brings, there are so many things to love about it.

The Post Thanksgiving Panic And Anxiety

It happens to all of us, the weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas the catch up with you.

Thanksgiving Break is most likely everyone’s favorite break during the fall semester. You get to go home and reminisce with all your high school friends. That diet you’ve been on for the past month goes out the window, and you get to eat until you put yourself into a food coma. There’s no rush on homework and you can just lie in bed and Netflix to your heart’s content. To me that sounds like an ideally wonderful break, and totally stress-free.

5 reasons we love fictional characters more than real people

We all have that one character who is honestly our best friend.

Grey's Anatomy

Even Shonda Rhimes, winning creator and executive producer of the hit TV shows Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Scandal, How to Get Away with Murder, and The Catch agrees that relationships with fictional characters are real. In her book, The Year of Yes she states, "I have spent more time with Meredith and Christina then many of my actual friends...When you watched TV, even spending a full hour with Christina once a week, you were likely spending more time with her then you spent with most people in your life. That relationship was real."
