My ideal man has a lot of important key qualities. These include, but are not limited to, being fun, adorable, kind, protective, and loving.

The ideal man has really, really great hair. That has just the right amount of fluff to it. I want to be able to run a brush through his beautiful hair. It ideally is a mix of colors that blend together nicely.

The ideal man is very protective of me. He won’t let anyone hurt me. I feel safe when I am with him, more so than when I am with anyone else. I don’t need a security system in my home because he will attack anyone that tries to break in or hurt me.

The ideal man is so much fun. We can play all sorts of games together. Although, our favorite is catch. We have fun no matter what we are doing. We love to go on walks together. We have the best time when we’re just walking and talking. He loves going to the park with me.

The ideal man is very active. He loves to go running with me. He gets me up and off the couch every day. He doesn’t let me be lazy. Ever.

The ideal man loves to go out. He gets so excited if you even say the word “out.” It makes him so, so happy.

The ideal man has the biggest heart in the whole world. He loves me unconditionally, and I can tell. He never stays mad at me, even when I yell at him. He kisses me every single day. He doesn’t give me any space. He always wants to know what I’m doing, and doesn’t want to miss a single minute.

The ideal man wakes me up every morning by jumping on my bed to tell me he has to pee. He licks me repeatedly. He barks in my ear.

I love him. I could never live without him. He is the only man I need. My dog is the ideal man.

Dogs rule and boys drool.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
