I Want Crazy

Hunter Hayes says it right ladies and gentlemen.

The first thing that comes to mind when deciding whether or not to commit to a long distance relationship is exactly that, crazy.

There's plenty of pros and cons to every specific situation, but if you're like me and very hesitant about distance, then this list might help you make your final decision.

Cons :(

1. You aren't able to have a date night any day of the week.

2. Traveling is expensive and can be difficult to coordinate.

3. Petty arguments can arise because you are annoyed by how much you miss your other half.

4. Sometimes it feels as if they are almost imaginary because you don't see them frequently enough.

5. Lazy Netflix days on the couch are 100% out of the question.

6. The internet is not always reliable and Skype calls disconnect way too often.

7. You have to learn to schedule around their time, just to be able to see them for a little bit.

Pros :)

1. "Absence makes the heart grow fonder."

2. When you do get the chance to see each other, you appreciate the time you have together.

3. You spend your time more wisely.

4. You always have more things to catch up on because you aren't with each other to experience things together.

5. The friendship aspect of the relationship is stronger because you have to be supportive through words, not actions.

6. Both sides learn to have good communication skills - example: if you get in an argument, you can't just walk away from it.

7. If you can survive the distance, you can survive the rest of the relationship (or anything else if we're being realistic here).

8. You can have lazy days where you don't have to dress up or do your hair, because let's be real here you don't have anybody to impress but yourself.

9. You learn to schedule your time better when matching up times to meet because you have to coordinate your texts, phones calls and Skype,

10. If both sides are willing to put in equal amounts of effort and time, then the relationship will be stronger and more likely to succeed because you'll become aware of the important aspects that really matter to you.

Overall, it really depends on the specific relationship and the effort each side is willing to put in. If you have the mindset that you will be able to work through the tough times, you will most definitely be able to appreciate the good times!

"You can't undo a fall like this/ 'Cause love don't know what distance is"

College is the most exciting time of a person's life. It really is. Exciting is not always a positive feeling though. Excited is a feeling that can be associated with nervousness, anxiety and more. Here are some real tips for college freshman that go beyond the typical, "Go to class," lecture.

Friendship. It's defined as the state of being attached to another person by feelings of affection or personal regard, but what really is friendship? Is it that occasional hallway talk with that one person who always manages to cheer you up? Is it that relationship you have with someone where they can be gone for a long period of time, but when they come back, it's like they never left? Is it spending every waking hour with someone, and knowing every detail about their life? Is it the relationship that's filled with fighting, but filled with even more resolution? I've learned that it's all of these things, and every friendship is different. It's a beautifully dysfunctional mess that should always be cherished and never be taken for granted.

I've known you your entire life. More than likely I held you in the first three days of it and at least one of us cried. Cousins are truly one of the best things in the world and while sometimes I complain about how many people crowd Grandma's living room on Christmas Eve, I wouldn't trade you all anything.

You are my best friends, the only people who can understand what it's like on Thanksgiving, and you are the spunkiest people I have ever met. But you as so so young, most of you are just now starting your adventures in the public education system. I mean, I'm so very young too. I'm not married, I don't have children, heck, I just started my adult life, but I do want to give you what little advice I have. My dears, these are the things I want you to know.
