It's the one of the newest debatable show on Netflix and I have to admit, it is hilarious!
1. Shit gets real.

Honestly, this show is outrageous but it's brutally honest about some stuff. Netflix has done another great show where they don't care about the 'social norms'.
"We are not shaming Patty. We are addressing (through comedy) the damage that occurs from fat shaming. I hope that clears it up. The show is really about the damage that happens from fat-shaming. It touches on how we have all felt that we are not enough," she explained. "How do we fill that void? Some people get anxiety attacks, some eat. I'm a firm believer that these issues are better in the open." ~ Alyssa Milano
2. The actress actually knows how it feels to go through this.
Debby Ryan opens up about backlash to new series 'insatiable'

"The redemption is in identifying the bullies and saying, 'This is not okay.' And just because this one thing happened to Patty that changed her on the outside, it doesn't solve her problems because she's not free of compulsion and addiction. Twelve years into my own struggles with body image, struggles that took me in and out of terrible places I never want to go again and things I choose every day to leave behind, I was drawn to this show's willingness to go to real places about how difficult and scary it can be to move through the world in a body," Debby says. "Whether you're being praised or criticised for its size."

3. The show does not Fat Shame Patty.

4. Skinny is NOT magic.
Skinny is not magic, but i still appreciated insatiable

"Patty's body-image issues are treated with compassion. We, the audience, and the characters in the show explore the difference between internal and external beauty. 'Skinny is magic.' The show has a very conflicted relationship with that statement, sometimes demonstrating how it appears to be true and sometimes exploring how it's really not. But does Insatiable fat-shame Patty? In my view as a fat woman, no. The show puts a great deal of care into handling that aspect of the story. Patty's body-image issues are treated with compassion and the character consistently explores the difference between internal and external beauty. Debby Ryan is charming and there were times when her performance really spoke to me and addressed some of the experiences I had as a fat teenager.
I, too, sometimes felt that fate had cast me as a loser when I desperately wanted to be a winner. Is Insatiable perfect in that respect? No. Early in the series, Bob Armstrong announces, "Skinny is magic." The show has a very conflicted relationship with that statement, sometimes demonstrating how it appears to be true and sometimes exploring how it's really not. In early episodes, Patty is able to leverage her thin body into an acquittal in the trial concerning her fight with a homeless man. She gains the attention of the school's hottie, Christian (James Lastovic), and becomes a serious contender in the town's local beauty pageant, Miss Magic Jesus. But Patty's relationship with Christian is terrible and terrifying. Her newfound obsession with beauty pageants destroys her life and her preoccupation with revenge causes major damage to her relationship with her best friend, Nonnie (Kimmy Shields)."
5. Hands down, this show is hilarious.

If you just stop fighting and watch it, you will see that it is actually really really funny. This show is extremely controversial but it's really funny! I sat down and binged watched all 12 seasons and I almost died of laughter. Growing up being bullied, especially being bullied for being part of the LGBT community, I understood where this show was coming from. Patty is alone, always. She feels like she's all alone in the world and no one will love her. That's a very common feeling, especially in high school.
I'm insatiable about 'Insatiable'. I'm probably going to get a lot of hate for this article but I don't mind. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
