Still no regrets.

Things I Will Do Differently Next Semester

As this year comes to an end, I realize how much I've learned from my experiences here so far. From schedules to dorm necessities, there is a lot I could've done differently.

Don't bring so much stuff.

Coming into Freshman year, my mom and I were constantly picking up unnecessary items that I now know I would absolutely never need for next year. Things like:

Extra chairs

Beanbags

Too many clothes that I brought because I thought I would learn to like the outfits I usually hate

Too many toiletries (I still haven't even used half of the things I brought)

A TV (we have laptops)

A ton of towels (I literally have used 1/5 and washed the same one

ARE COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY. With a split double in Brewster, it is already difficult enough to make space and the extra clutter does not help keep my room clean.

Bring important things:

Despite the fact that, yes, a lot of things are too much, before I come back I am going to stock up on the things that I wish I had more of.

Extra shampoo and conditioner

The clothes that I know I will absolutely wear

Two sets of sheets

MORE SNACKS

Enjoy the time we have

This year, I constantly found myself not living in the moment. Everybody told me that these four years will go by quickly and unfortunately they were so right. Next year I am going to take advantage of every day we have here.

And from that friendship, you may even find yourself lucky enough to have a few more friends, thus forming a group. Here are just a few signs that prove your current friend group is the ultimate friend group.

When it comes to television, there’s very few sets of on-screen siblings that a lot of us can relate to. Only those who have grown up with siblings knows what it feels like to fight, prank, and love a sibling. Ross and Monica Geller were definitely overbearing and overshared some things through the series of "Friends," but they captured perfectly what real siblings feel in real life. Some of their antics were funny, some were a little weird but all of them are completely relatable to brothers and sisters everywhere.

1. The Legacy.

Her sister was a member, her mom was a member, all of her aunts were members, and her grandma was a member. She has been waiting her whole life to wear these letters and cried hysterically on bid day. Although she can act entitled at times, you can bet she is one of the most enthusiastic sisters.

Every kid in college and/or high school dreams of summer the moment they walk through the door on the first day back in September. It becomes harder and harder to focus in classes and while doing assignments as the days get closer. The winter has been lagging, the days are short and dark, and no one is quite themselves due to lack of energy and sunlight. Let's face it: life is ten times better in the summertime.
