Hype is fun. Hype is exciting. Hype is even brings a bit of anxiety.
That one thing you are hyped for, you know how it feels. How exciting it this.
Hype is great. Honestly, it gives the event that you are hyped for that much more meaning. Be it a concert, movie, show, etc. Right now, I’m hyped for WWE ROYAL RUMBLE, which is on the 1/29 (which could either have already passed or it is about to happen). I have been hyped since November, basically. And it’s finally here.
However, sometimes the hyped event does not live up to expectation, especially if the hype, “overhyped” it (I know, I know, quite obvious). This tends to be the case with many a film and video game. It’s highly disappointing if it actually bad, other times the bar was just a bit too high.
Hype adds another layer of joy to any product or event, but you can also set yourself for disappointment. In those cases, well, get hyped for something else.
It’s fun.
And remember, don’t get hype. STAY HYPE.
