Physiological factors that suggest humans may be aliens to Earth

Humans: The Aliens Of Earth

Often I have wondered why it is that there is no other creature on the planet so developed as ourselves. I have recently come across an article telling about a book written by Dr. Ellis Silver. In his book, "Humans are not from Earth: A scientific evaluation of the evidence," Dr. Ellis explores evidence that suggests humans are not from Earth. He theorizes in his book that humans were placed on the planet years ago by a more intelligent life form (or we could give aliens credit). Some points Dr. Ellis uses to support his case had to do with physiological features. Dr. Ellis stakes claim that humans did not evolve with other life on Earth. He supports this claim by pointing out a range of issues humans have. Some of our ailments include, but are probably not limited to: back pain, getting sunburned easily, and difficulty giving birth. The back pain may be a result of us coming from a place with less gravity. A good explanation right?

Dr. Ellis had also said in his book, that the planet does meet our needs for the most part, but it doesn’t serve our interests as well as our introducers had thought it would. Dr. Ellis had stated that, "mankind is supposedly the most highly developed species on the planet, yet is surprisingly unsuited and ill-equipped for Earth’s environment: harmed by sunlight, a dislike for naturally occurring foods, ridiculously high rates of chronic ailments, plus more." While science can still argue against his theory (and my mind does it now, naturally), I can still see how this idea is possible. It seems as though we humans can strengthen our backs, yet we can still injure them anyway. Back problems are so common that 80 percent of all Americans will have lower back pain at some point in their lives. I would say it is a big issue with humans. Also, why don’t we have an adapted ability to be in the sunlight like other animals? We don’t even have fur to keep us warm in the elements. Looking at humans, we just aren’t well suited for nature (almost all of us).

Human skin is so sensitive and seems to tear easily, or so I find accurate as I own cats who think their claws are harmless. Humans can’t sunbathe for long periods of time each day without problems later on. We all know about skin cancer very well. Dr. Ellis also claims that humans are ill much more often than other species and the reason being is that our body clocks have evolved to expect a 25 hour day. This has been proven by sleep researchers, says Dr. Ellis. He also suggests that Neanderthals, example being homo erectus, had been crossbred with a species thought to originate from the closest star system to our solar system. This solar system is some 4.37 light years away from the sun.

Thinking about these factors, the evidence supporting humans as aliens to Earth, Dr. Ellis wrote the book to act more as a tool to inspire individuals to debate. I guess it is a good theory, as we can see how destructive we are to the sensitive planet. To give an idea I have taken this example from waitbutwhy.com: If the Earth formed at midnight and the present moment is the next midnight, 24 hours later, modern humans have been around since 11:59:59pm-1 second. And if human history itself spans 24 hours from one midnight to the next, 14 minutes represents the time since Christ. That isn’t a very long time for our well developed selves to destroy such a delicate balance we easily destroy. Perhaps we were from another planet that was adapted to us and could keep us in check. Maybe we were like the chickens in another universe. See, there I go, starting to debate. However, Dr. Ellis did touch on an interesting, yet possible idea. Maybe we didn’t come in peace here and we need to phone home. Perhaps we are aliens here.

Friendship. It's defined as the state of being attached to another person by feelings of affection or personal regard, but what really is friendship? Is it that occasional hallway talk with that one person who always manages to cheer you up? Is it that relationship you have with someone where they can be gone for a long period of time, but when they come back, it's like they never left? Is it spending every waking hour with someone, and knowing every detail about their life? Is it the relationship that's filled with fighting, but filled with even more resolution? I've learned that it's all of these things, and every friendship is different. It's a beautifully dysfunctional mess that should always be cherished and never be taken for granted.

I've known you your entire life. More than likely I held you in the first three days of it and at least one of us cried. Cousins are truly one of the best things in the world and while sometimes I complain about how many people crowd Grandma's living room on Christmas Eve, I wouldn't trade you all anything.

You are my best friends, the only people who can understand what it's like on Thanksgiving, and you are the spunkiest people I have ever met. But you as so so young, most of you are just now starting your adventures in the public education system. I mean, I'm so very young too. I'm not married, I don't have children, heck, I just started my adult life, but I do want to give you what little advice I have. My dears, these are the things I want you to know.
