Since childhood, people dream of miracles. Remember how we have inspired fairy tales, who told the parents, unusual cartoons with strange characters, and now, as adults, with genuine admiration and wistfully looking at the heroes of the mystery and science fiction films. Everyone would like to have some interesting superpowers, to be able to realize a snap of his fingers in the desired life. And how great it used to teleport out of the house, say, on a tropical island, or anywhere in the world where your heart desires. Or bat an eye -- and you're from sleepy groundhog is transformed into a stylish beauty. People dream, dream, but doomed sigh, because it's impossible ...

But can you not?

Miracles, my dear, even as possible! But do not think that they will fly fairy godmother and a wave of his magic wand will fulfill all your secret desires. No fairies or goldfish and even a genie out of the bottle will do for you is what you yourself can do. Yes, you are! Any miracle is the source of your inner intention. Like any clear change in the life of the will, and initiated by your thoughts and unusual cases, fulfillment of dreams and small miracles just do not happen by chance, but because you have made it in life. As they say, miracles happen to those who believe in them.

For example, I really like apple, green apple. Well, really I like! Things work, I turn, I spin. And then one comes to visit and brings apple ! Wow! Miracle! Joy is no limit! But the miracle of it? Rather, a well formulated desire, supported by emotional seasoning.

Or another case. Leaving the house, I say to myself - Now comes my bus. I went to a halt - and accurately! Rides. The successful combination of circumstances? Or a little magic?

Such examples are numerous. Miracles surround us no matter, we see them or not, believe or not. And they do not even need a magic wand. However, all this little phenomenon. But what is at the expense of a more global, such as teleportation, materialization, telekinesis and other?

Your mind is a magic wand.

I recently visited an interesting thought. Why magic as a rare visitor in our lives. Why not work with us to change the external reality for the sake of his own thoughts and desires. Here we take, for example, the emotional background. Are we always able to cope with their own emotions? Whether always able to consciously change negative thoughts to positive? Or when to take a sad and start to enjoy. Or tell yourself - today I have a good soul and a love for all things overwhelms me. Or pick up and throw the whole thought pattern, which makes it difficult to focus on the more important points. In other words - if we are able to govern themselves? This is the main question. Because if a person is not able to manage even a, what can we talk about the reality of management? The unstable mentality, unstable emotions, contradicting desires, and how many lives can be destructive thoughts in people's minds? What can we say about the selfish thoughts and way of life of the vast numbers of the world's population. Users will not be able to teleport, while at least one head of live evil intentions ... and visible miracles, too, can not become a normal part of life, as long as there is someone who envy will poke fingers and accused of witchcraft.

But, you know, it's not sad. Because once such thoughts arise and are not only understood (and I feel that not only in my mind) that means progress is. And the world is changing for the better! The more we are aware that only by our ability to understand and manage themselves and loved ones depends on everything else, the more we magnify over the habits, instincts, stereotypes, and pendulums. So, there is a good chance to increase the share of magic in our lives, and the world at large! As they say, change yourself and the world will change!

So are you still dreaming of a magic wand? Remember - your mind absolutely has a magic wand!

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
