Acai Bowls are the latest craze for any health guru or trend master. Juicing bars, organic and vegan restaurants, and even at home creations, have taken over the world of social media as “the” food/drink to be caught eating. These smoothie in a bowl concoctions all start with the base- acai. This superfood from Brazil is deemed to have a superfluous amount of health benefits and has been mixed with a variety of fruits and vegetables to form a thick enough texture to consume with a spoon. Seen through popular Instagram photos and acai bowl photos, an acai is so adaptable that it can be seen topped with fruits, seeds, and even oatmeal. Here are a couple of reasons why acais bowls are the way to go...
