Hufflepuff: house of the badgers. Hufflepuff has always been a house to poke fun at. We Hufflepuffs are seen as the "boring" and "loser" house. Hufflepuffs were made fun of literally 60 pages into the first book, (seriously J.K. Rowling, why the hate?) and Hufflepuffs often find themselves as the butt of all the jokes. While Hufflepuffs might be the easy target, let's not forget that at the end of the day, Hufflepuffs are some of the best friends you will ever have.
Hufflepuffs are the house of the loyal, the hard working, and the kind. Hufflepuffs are the friends who will always have your back and are always happy to help someone in need. You need help moving? Hufflepuffs are happy to help! Need someone to help you study for your exams? Hufflepuffs will bring the study snacks! Not having a good day? Hufflepuffs are the ones who will let you vent to them for hours.
Let's not forget, if you have a secret, Hufflepuffs will never tell a soul. Even if time passes and you are no longer friends, that secret will never reach another ear. Even if you get into a fight, that secret is safe.
Then of course there is Hufflepuff loyalty. While Hufflepuffs have no problem forgiving any transgression toward them, they will never forgive someone who hurts one of their friends or loved ones. Hufflepuffs are fiercely protective of the ones they love. They will do whatever it is they need to make their loved ones happy again.
Finally, you have the supportiveness that makes up Hufflepuff. Hufflepuffs are always going to be your number one fan and your cheer squad. No matter what you do, your Hufflepuff friends will stand by your side and help you. Did you ambitiously decide you were going to take way to many classes this semester and are beginning to stress? Your Hufflepuff friend is at your side with cookies and flashcards, ready to help you calm down and reorganize your thoughts. Did you decided you are going try parkour even though you have no real gymnastic or athletic ability what so ever? Hufflepuffs are there to film your stunt for YouTube, (and drive you to the emergency room when you break your arm).
Without a doubt, Hufflepuffs are some of the coolest people you will ever meet. You can make fun of the badgers all you want but who else is going to bake you brownies just because they felt like it?
