What A Die Hard "High School Musical" Fan Hopes Is In "High School Musical 4"

That’s right, Wildcat fans! Disney Channel has just recently announced that they are creating a fourth movie to the wildly successful "High School Musical" franchise. Unfortunately, the new movie will not feature the original Wildcats who captured our hearts: Troy, Gabriella, Sharpay, Ryan, Chad, Taylor, Kelsie and the rest of the group, but it should still have a good plot because Peter Barsocchini, who wrote the three previous movies, will co-write the fourth movie with Dan Berendsen who wrote "Hannah Montana: The Movie."

"HSM 4"will also introduce the rivals from across town: the West High Knights. Gary Marsh, President and Chief Creative Officer of Disney Channels Worldwide, said, "'High School Musical' is part of Disney Channel’s DNA. It embodies all that we stand for. As a way of continuing to embrace that heritage, we’re excited to announce 'the start of something new' —as we launch a search for a new class of East High Wildcats to star in a fourth installment of the ‘High School Musical’ franchise.”

Growing up with "High School Musical" songs playing on my iPod Nano and having Zac Efron posters on my walls, I have to say that I am excited for this new rendition of the "High School Musical" movies we’ve come to know and love. Having said that, these features will hopefully appear in "HSM 4":

1. Ms. Darbus

The teacher we all loved to hate who took her musical seriously and detentions even more so.

2. Coach Bolton is still the East High Basketball coach

Chad Danforth would have to be the assistant coach. Who else would get the team pumped?

3. Troy Bolton makes an appearance at one of the practices

He then shows the team how to sing, dance and play basketball simultaneously.

4. The same school is used

I would have a hard time watching if it was not the same school.

5. Sharpay’s pink locker is still there

But no one is allowed to use it because it is now a shrine to honor her talents.

6. East High holds a reunion and our favorite Wildcats come back

Because honestly, we miss them all.

7. Troy and Gabriella announce at the reunion that they are married

They are #relationshipgoals.

8. Someone sings dramatically in the hallway all alone

It's not HSM if this doesn't happen.

9. References are made to Zeke’s famous crème brulee

“It’s a creamy, custard-like filling with a caramelized surface. It’s really satisfying."

10. Someone rocks the hats as much as Ryan did and does a jazz square just as well

His style was on point.

11. A big jump

It is the epitome of "High School Musical."

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
