How to make that loved one or loved ones feel more appreciated.

Love is such an important part of our everyday lives although it can be hard to express. Everyone wants to be loved, but are you expressing your feelings the way you want someone to express feelings to you? Avoid making someone feel not cared about or unappreciated by correctly expressing how you really feel.

1. Smile

Something as simple as a smile helps you as well as your loved one understand how you feel. When you come home from school and your parent asks you how your day was, a smile shows them that you are happy to see them. Smiling indicates happiness so let that loved one know. Smiles tend to be contagious.

2. Joke Around

Being playful is important in strengthening your relationship. The more you can mess around, the more comfortable you will feel with this person. You want to make sure that you, and this person is comfortable while together.

3. Laugh

Who doesn’t enjoy a good laugh? Exchanging heartwarming laughs and smiles makes you and your loved one want to be around each other. A laugh alone can create a feeling of intimacy.

4. Questions

What is so loving about a question? Questions allow you to learn more about your loved one. Get him or her to tell you about themselves because who doesn’t feel comfortable talking about themselves? Turn all the “I”s into “you”s. This might also intrigue your loved one to learn more about you. This can be an advantage in letting you know how they really feel about certain things.

5. Hug

Everyone needs a hug sometimes. Hugs are physically and emotionally pleasing. A hug makes you feel more connected to a person rather than only being able to express yourself with words. Hugs are helpful when you don’t want to be all talk all the time.

6. Time

Spend what money can’t buy: Time. Spending time with your loved one makes them feel special and it’ll make both of you feel good. The more time you spend, the happier the both of you will be.

7. Tell Them You Enjoy Their Company

Everyone enjoys spending time with the person or people they love, but do they actually know that? When you are having a good time, you should let the person know. When a person knows that you enjoy being with them, it makes them want to be around you more. It also makes that person feel special because you decided to let them know that you are happy with them.

8. Show It

It is very important to find ways to show someone how much you care about them. There are many different ways you can go about it depending on who your loved one is. You can perform random acts of kindness to show how much you really care because it’s the little things that count. Why not bake a cake for your family for no reason? Why not buy your girl roses just because? Why not show her off on social media and to your friends just because? Why not text him paragraphs on how much you love him? Why not make a surprise dinner date? Why not get you friend a gift for always being there for you? Why take all these questions into consideration? Because love, and love only.

9. Say it Once, Say it Twice, Say it a Million Times!

If you love them, say it. Say “I love you,” because it justifies your actions. Never be afraid to let them know how special they are.

What are you doing? You know how to love now! Get off your butt and show your loved one how you really feel!

10 Signs You Work In A Restaurant

There's always chaos in the restaurant business.

10 Signs You Work In A Restaurant
Brisanis

Working in the restaurant industry is possibly the most fundamentally challenging occupation I have ever experienced when it comes to hospitality and customer service. When you go to a five-star restaurant you expect the time of your life, a two hour getaway, a walk through another time period (rustic Italy, France, Spain, etc), or simply a honeymoon undergo. What you don't see are the behind the scenes scut work: carrying trays, polishing glassware and silverware, kitchen chaos, the list is endless. Now, I'm not saying being a host, server, or bartender is the worst thing in the whole wide world, there are definitely worse things. But the fact of the matter is that it isn't always sunshine and rainbows. In the two years that I have spent in restaurant and customer service, I have spoken my share of expletives, yelled at kitchen staff, and dealt with not-so-happy guests. It isn't easy to keep a bright and shiny smile on your face when all you want to do is choke every person who walks near you. Anyone who has spent even two weeks working in a restaurant understands the rigor and stress that comes with it. Restaurant culture is a tiny world in and of itself that operates on its own principles and creates its own society. It even has its own language. The sayings "runner", "corner", and "on a bus" wouldn't make sense to anyone otherwise. My mother and I both work in a restaurant and the best advice I can give someone going out to eat is to treat us like people. Yes...believe it or not we are people, people. Say "please" and "thank you", or stack your cleared plates before a busser gets to the table. Trust me, the gesture goes a lot farther than you may think.

So, if you work in a restaurant, you can relate with the following points. If not, check out how the brain of a restaurant service (or any customer service) worker actually works. See if you can identify any crazy weird habits your friends have a tendency to partake in.

One of the scariest things we will ever face in our life is going to college. Many of us move away to a new town, join new organizations, and make new friends. If you are in high school, here are some things that you can learn from before you get to college. If you have already been through your freshman year of college, hopefully you can relate to the things I have learned in college.
