It's almost Spring Break, you've got exams on top of papers and projects, and you're now starting to get REALLY annoyed with your roommates. It's that time of the semester. Congratulations! You've made it this far, but there's so much more to come. It's gonna be tough, but it'll all pay off one day, right? It's hard to see it that way now, but trust me, it'll be worth it.
1. You don't even know where to start with how much you have to do.
Your whole planner is filled with assignment due dates and work shifts and study groups. You just don't even know where to start.
2. You've got multiple exams in the same week.
Why professors? Why must you give me an exam on the same week that all of my other professors are giving me exams?! I swear they plan this and love to see students suffer...
3. The procrastination is REAL.
You've got a paper due at midnight and you're sitting watching Netflix at 8pm. It'll only take you about an hour to write the paper right? So you've got at least two more hours of Netflix time before you need to start working on it.
4. You're running on 4 hours of sleep. At most.
Between taking 18 credits, working two jobs, and trying to balance a social life? There just aren't enough hours in the day. And your sleep schedule is the thing that gets jeopardized.
5. You just don't know what to eat anymore.
The countless grilled cheeses, hot dogs, and toaster waffles are finally starting to get old. It's not time to switch to ramen for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
6. Your roommate is getting on your last nerve...
You can hear their alarm go off for their 8:30am class over and over and over again because they keep hitting snooze. Or when they NEVER change the empty toilet paper roll. Or they use the last little bit of your toothpaste. The list goes on...
But you know it's all worth it.
Yeah, this point of the semester is the worst and everything just seems to be hitting you at once. But you know that it's some of the best years of your life. The tuition money is well spent and you're learning to balance everything at once. Don't worry, you've got it.
