Moving away from home is probably one of the scariest things that I have done so far in my life. I'm in a totally new environment, surrounded by people I don't know, and in a place I don't know. Most freshmen are experiencing the same anxiety I am feeling. One of the biggest worries among college is freshman is their roommate. So I have compiled a list on how to tell if you have chosen the right roommate(s).

1. You don't worry about how you look in front of them.

2. Cooking is always an adventure.

3. Even being lazy can be fun.

4. You give each other relationship advice.

5. You motivate each other when things get rough.

6. You can freely share clothes.

7. When your outfit looks like a child dressed you, they'll tell you.

8. You can tell them stories of your past and they won't judge you.

9. You openly stalk ex-boyfriend/possible new boyfriends on social media for hours.

10. They let you watch a TV show they loath.

11. You can't wait to tell them the crazy stuff that happen throughout your day.

12 .They'll protect you when a guy is scamming on you.

13. They share even their most favorite food.

14. They'll let you in when you lock yourself out.

15. They're always there when you need to talk.

16. They'll take you up if you're running late.

17. They're the best friends you will make.
