Each sorority and different chapter of that same sorority have many different traits that make them the house they are. Each house comes with its own jokes and memories that can make them stand apart from other houses. As a member of Gamma Phi Beta at Oklahoma State, I can say there are many different aspects that make us who we are. Here are some things we do or say that completely describe Gamma Phi Beta.

1. Pizza bagel day is a big day. Gamma Phis love our pizza bagels.

2. Always being fashionably late. Something about us makes us run a few minutes late. All the time.

3. A general love for "spirit."

4. A general hate for the spiral staircase and memories of going up and down them thousands of times in one day.

5. Getting our stress out by swinging on the swing outside the house.

6. You have at least one picture you can't post because you're doing the crescent wrong.

7. You love each other to the moon and back. That's a lot of miles.

8. You give a different name to your house depending on what the situation is. For example, if you're having pancakes, it's Gamma Pancake Beta. Or if you're riding a bike, it's Gamma Phi Bicycle.

9. You have bruises from the dining room chairs.

10. You actually can't imagine running to any other house on bid day – even though your house is pretty far.

11. Seeing another sister on campus is the best feeling. You end up being late to your class because you chat for too long, but it's okay.

12. You're seriously broke because new PR shirts every second. Every second. And they're cute, so you can't say no.

13. The pillars in the front of the house were actually created for hammocking.

14. Knowing it's a Gphi's car before you even see the letters on the back because of the bid day sunflower headband on the review window.

15. Jimmy Johns is probably in the circle drive. Go look now. It's probably there.
