You should know by many things they do, and say. Now I do believe in love at first sight, but I also believe you need to know about a person before marrying them, or even saying "I love you". Take time and get to know each other, make sure there is more than just physical chemistry, if it's based on purely physical chemistry it won't last, you need to have that bond.
