So, if you're here, I can't help but think that you want to write a book. I don't know what kind of book it is, or how long you want it to be. I don't even know if it is a book.

For all I know, you don't even want to write a book. Maybe you just like knowing how to do things. But at any rate, I am here to teach y'all how to do the thing where you turn words into sentences, and then paragraphs, and then magically make a collection of pages that people want to read.

1. Sit down, shut up

Believe it or not, you can't actually write a book if you don't sit down to write it.

2. Plan it out in your head

It's always good going into any kind of writing to know a broad idea of what you want to say before you try writing it down.

3. Just do it

Ain't nothing to it but to do it, my dude.

4. If all else fails, just keep writing

Even if you're just writing reasons to give up, you never know which thought will get you out of your writing block. So just keep going.

5. Don't look at your phone

It's hard to get into your writing when you keep getting distracted by the latest hashtags and facebook trends.

6. If all else fails, take a 5-minute break

If you've tried all you can think of trying, and the right words just aren't coming. Try walking away for a few minutes. You never know what might happen away from your keyboard, You might find inspiration to take the book places you hadn't thought to go before.

7. Read

All the best writers read, and all the best readers... They do something, probably. The point is, you could be inspired by another person's work, and you always have the ability to learn from books. Whether you find a new style or experience a new activity that you're interested in. Books are a gateway to adventure, and you need to tackle every adventure to be the best you can be.

8. Share

Your friends and family care about you and your interests. They'd love to see what you're working on, and they might be able to offer you suggestions to better flesh out your baby.

9. Brainstorm

Whether you keep a notebook full of ideas, or just tell your friends about your ideas so someone has them, or keeping a voice recorder on hand to make memos when inspiration hits. Just always keep something on hand to keep the creative juices flowing.

10. Don't stress

You're not the first person to write a book, and you won't be the last. Sip on a hot beverage, and just chill. It's gonna be fine.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
