Do everything Luke Byran does

I recently attended a Luke Bryan concert as part of his Kill the Lights Tour featuring Dustin Lynch and Little Big Town. It was at that concert that Luke Bryan mentioned his Entertainer of the Year award, because honestly I hate award shows and I never watch them. Now the concert I attended was in Charlotte, North Carolina on the day of a tropical storm, but of course, the show went on regardless of the torrential rain. However, it was delayed several times before they started letting people in, so many of us were not in the best of moods by the time the concert began with Dustin Lynch, however, both he and Little Big Town did not disappoint. Anyway, when Luke Bryan came finally came on and talked about being Entertainer of the Year, I prepared myself to be wowed, and I certainly was. I've attended a good amount of concerts, but I have to say, this was my favorite. With that said, here are a few things that made it great, and most definitely some of the reasons that Luke Bryan 100% deserves to have the title of Entertainer of the Year.

1. Make the best of the night. It was an outdoor concert in the rain, definitely not what anyone was hoping for, but then Luke came out singing "Rain is a Good Thing" and we couldn't help but laugh and sing along.

2. Interact with the audience. Luke made sure to talk to the audience several times in between songs rather than just singing song after song and then leaving. Plus, there was no intermission so he just kept it up for two hours so no one even had a chance to get bored or tired.

3. Interact with the other performers. Luke not only performed his own songs, but he brought out Dustin Lynch and Little Big Town and sang songs with them, doing covers such as Ed Sheeran's, "Thinking out Loud" and "Dynamite" by Taio Cruz. Not only was it entertaining, but it showed that he really can sing any genre well.

4. Throw beer into the crowd. Honestly, why don't all performers do this? Even if you don't like beer, you've got to give Luke credit for thinking outside the box on how to get the audience excited.

5. Have fun! The audience feeds off of the performer and with Luke, there was no way of not being exceptionally happy while he was on stage. He danced, joked, talked with the audience, and even took tequila shots with the other performers.

6. Thank everyone. Thank the audience, our soldiers, doctors, firemen, policemen, teachers, the other performers, the setup crew, the entire state. It's so kind and respectful and all it does is remind everyone how great you are and how great they should be.

All in all, it was completely worth the money and waiting in the rain for two hours. I completely and totally recommend that anyone who like country music even slightly should attend one of Luke's concert's to witness why he keeps on winning Entertainer of the Year, because I haven't seen anyone who deserves it more.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
