It's that time of the year, spring semester is almost over and summer is right around the corner.

Everyone is planning their summer getaway trips and, depending on the city or country you plan on visiting, it can be pricey. As someone who loves to travel and loves trying new things and getting out of my comfort zone, I have done my research on traveling without breaking the bank and traveling on a budget. From a place to stay, flights, and food you can travel and not have to worry about expenses because you budgeted right.

Here's a few ways to travel, enjoy your stay, and not break the bank.

Accommodations

Nothing breaks the bank more than choosing a flight last minute and with the wrong airline. If you want the cheapest flights, book your flight on a Tuesday around midnight. Take the first flight in the morning; there's less people, which means short lines through security. Catch the red eye; these flights are from west to east, and this essentially shortens the night flight across time zones. Also, another great way is flying for free. Sign up for a few travel credit cards, collect miles and fly for free.

Go Dutch

Travel with your pals or significant other and split the bill. Everyone pays their fair share of the hotel, airbnb, car, flight, food, and whatever activities you plan on doing. This way no one has to break the bank to accommodate everyone. At the end of the day, everyone enjoys themselves while making new memories. Just remember: you do not have to be rich to travel.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

singing
Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
