The early bird gets the worm, they said. It will be nice to finish classes early in the day, they said. Everyone taking an 8 a.m. knows the struggle of starting your day at the crack of dawn. Here's some tips for anyone like me trying to persevere through this semester.

1. Prepare the night before

Set out your clothes and pack up your backpack so it's one less step to do in the morning which can ultimately save you time.

2. Set several alarms

If you're anything like me, you may need an extra budge to get up in the morning. Try setting several alarms a few minutes away from each other. Bonus points: set your alarm and put your phone or alarm clock out of arms reach so you have to get out of bed to turn it off.

3. Get Caffeinated!

Reward yourself with a cup of coffee from Starbucks or your coffee maker in your room. Also, get some caffeinated tea or chug 16 ounces of water to naturally was up your system right after you wake up.

4. SLEEP!

Now is the time to adopt a good 8 hour sleep schedule. While it seems practically Impossible as a college student it will largely benefit you when you have to deal with the early morning the next day.

Overall you just have to set your alarms, organize the night before, get some sleep, get caffeinated and simply crush the new day to come!

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
