Top 5 Ways To Spend Your Next Snow Day

This past week most East Coast colleges and universities were blessed with snow days and the wintertime activities were plentiful. However, nothing is worse than being stuck inside all day with nothing to do on a snow day. Here are some great ideas for next time we (hopefully) get another snow day:

1. Stockpile Food

If you find out there is a snowstorm coming and you might have a snow day, it is always a good idea to stockpile food so you don't have to brave the storm to go to the cafeteria. Also, putting together ingredients to make a yummy meal in dorm kitchens is a fun way to spend your time with friends.

2. S'mores!

This snow day, my dorm had the great idea of building a fire and roasting marshmallows to make smores. Nothing is better than watching the storm while enjoying the heat and delicious food.

3. Sports

Playing in the snow during a storm is brave, but doable. A lot of students this snow day chose to play football in the snow and sled down hills at school.

4. Movie Marathon

Sometimes, despite being a film major, I find myself never watching films that I actually choose to watch. Snow days are a great way to catch up on TV shows or movies you've been wanting to watch, but never had the time to watch.

5. Games

Playing board games or app games with friends is a fun way to pass time and enjoy the day inside.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
