How to Remove Ants from Laptop Keyboard?

The laptop is one of our most important things around along with smartphones.

So taking good care of the laptop is mandatory. Ants can create serious issues if they get inside the keyboard of your laptop. No one wants to deal with that kind of a mess.

It is important to get rid of the ants if they have entered your laptop keyboard and keep your keyboard safe from getting damaged and becoming completely useless. In this article, we will tell you how to remove ants from a laptop keyboard.

Methods to Remove Ants from Laptop Keyboard

The methods that can help you get rid of ants and can also protect and keep the keyboard of your laptop for nursing students in good condition are as under.

Vacuum your Laptop

The first thing that we recommend you to do is to vacuum the laptop completely. If you have a vacuum cleaner in your house you can use that vacuum cleaner in medium settings. If you use high settings, there are chances that you damage your laptop. So when you are vacuuming your laptop, make sure that you do the following things.

First of all, take your laptop. When you vacuum, make sure that you are not leaving any holes surrounding your laptop. Vacuum the backside of your laptop. You also have some ports at the side of the laptop. Vacuum all the ports. When you are in the process of getting rid of ants make sure you vacuum all the holes surrounding your laptop as well as the air vents behind your laptop.

Create a Bait

Sometimes vacuuming the laptop alone does not solve the problem so the next thing that we recommend you do is create a bait. A bait is any substance that attracts the ants. Keep a sugar cube which would be sweeter than the particle that is over your laptop keyboard. Put your laptop on the table and the sugar cube within a few inches from your keyboard. Now what will be happening here is once a single ant finds the sugar cube that we left beside the keyboard it will send a signal to the rest of the ant army that are all over the laptop keyboard.

And what will be happening here is that they all will be following the trails left behind by the ant that found the sugar cube. So after a few minutes you can notice that most of the ants that were over your laptop keyboard are moved to that sweet sugar cube which tastes sweeter than the particles that they were tasting before over your laptop keyboard.

Now once all these ants have moved to that sugar cube then you have to take your laptop away from the sugar cube so that no ants would be coming from the sugar cube and getting into your laptop keyboard again. You can visit Laptopsgraph.com for more tips and tricks about laptops.

Isolate your Laptop

Place your laptop on top of an upside-down container inside a plate filled with water. Place a spoon or little stick landing over the laptop keyboard. Now, this stick or spoon will act as the exit for the rest of the ant army on the laptop keyboard.

What happens here is that once a single ant senses danger it will send a panic signal to the entire army of ants. They will be finding ways to get rid of the danger that they have sent and when they are finding ways to exit they will find the tiny spoon that we have placed over the laptop keyboard.

Once a single ant exits to that spoon the rest of the army will follow the trail left behind by that single ant.

Final Thoughts

When you eat food while watching movies near your laptop then you are prone to leave some food particles over the keyboard of your laptop. So the thing that you should do to prevent your laptop from ants is that you should not keep any sweet food or any food that attract ants beside your laptop.

The second thing is to avoid eating food while you are watching movies specifically if you have your laptop over your lap. If you have a laptop over your lap and you are eating food, then the food that you are eating is prone to be falling on top of the keyboard from your mouth. So it is better to keep your laptop at a distance when you are eating food while watching movies.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
