Thanksgiving has always been an important holiday for me. The food, family time and, the chance to come home makes all the holiday stress worth it. I live in apartment with five people so I though it would be great to host a Friendsgiving. Friendsgiving is a get together with friends filled with food, fun, and memories. It requires a little work but all in all it is totally worth it and, you will have an excuse for an extra turkey meal!

1. Decide who will be the host

The host usually has it at his / her place, they will provide the turkey and place setting.

2. Prepare a Guest list

Make sure everyone is available and can bring a dish!

3. Coordinate who will be bringing what

At Friendsgiving, it is suggested that the food served potluck style. We don't want the host to be overworked.

4. Create a place setting

Matching tableware and any drink not in Solo cup should do. Candles are a great way to add ambience to a stuffy apartment.

5. Eat!

Dig in to a delicious meal!

6. Conversation is key.

Strike up a chat with someone you aren't familiar with. Friendsgiving is a great chance to meet new people in your social group

7. Clean Up

Give the host a hand and make sure that some dishes are taken care of. This gesture can go a long way!

8. Be thankful

When saying your goodbyes, make sure to thank the host and catch up with people at the door.

9. Pass out

Watch an iconic Gossip Girl thanksgiving episode and pass out, tomorrow you have to do this all over again with your own family!

Happy Thanksgiving from yours truly,I hope its filled with turkey, free laundry and your own bed

Love,

Lexi

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
