With fall weather quickly approaching, the basic white girls will soon be appearing. According to Urban Dictionary, a “White Girl” is “A creature who often posts pictures of Starbucks on Instagram, Tumblr or Facebook. Often wears leggings and Ugg boots and posts about how Nutella is very good when everybody knows it is. You will always see a white girl with her Ugg Boots on, Leggings on, and iPhone at Starbucks” (UrbanDictionary). In case you don't already fit this description, here's a few ways you can...

1. Invest in numerous pairs of the same black leggings, a pair of Uggs (or knock-offs if you're also a broke college student), and a North Face.

2. Pre-order the iPhone 7, even though you're already walking around with the 6s Plus.

3. Cry about the fact that soon your tan lines are going to go away.

4. Follow all of the fall accounts on Tumblr, and pin DIY fall decor on Pinterest.

5. Last, but certainly not least, go to Starbucks and order yourself a Venti Pumpkin Spice Latte, because 'tis the season.

While being "basic" consists of much more than just these five features, these are the main ones you need to achieve in order the status for this fall. Don't forget your risqué Halloween costume and pretending to be scared at a Haunted House with your prospective bae on your arm.

We Heart It

Over the past decade, television has undergone a very crucial transition: the incorporation of female lead characters. Since it's a known fact that girls actually do run the world (Beyonce said so herself), it's time for the leading ladies of the small screen to get some credit. Without these characters, women would still be sitting in the background of our favorite shows. These women are not only trailblazers for female empowerment, but role models for women worldwide. With that, here are 15 of the smartest, sassiest ladies gracing our screens that remind us that women do, indeed, rule:
