Starting off the year strong will help you have a better year. You can achieve everything you want to this year by planning out all that you want to do. Follow these steps in order to prepare for the new year and have a great 2017!

Make a list of your goals

The best way to actually achieve all that you want to is by making a list of your goals. If you set specific goals and what you’re gonna do to start reaching those goals, then you’re going to have a more successful year. You can look back at the end of the year and see how well you did in accomplishing your goals!

Clean and organize your room

When you have a clean room, you are able to be more hard working and productive. Don’t just put all of your stuff away, but get some cleaning supplies and deep clean your whole room. Clean and organize your room or house in order to start your year off right!

Throw out things you don’t need

While you’re cleaning your room, you also should get rid of anything you don’t need anymore. Go through all of your clothes and belongings and donate or throw out anything you don’t wear or use anymore. Clearing out your room and closet of old things will help your new year feel less cluttered and you can welcome in all the new!

Start exercising and eating healthier

Most people have a new year’s resolution of working out, losing weight, and getting healthy. This can be a hard change to make if you start all of a sudden on the 1st. Ease your way into exercising and eating better by starting the days between Christmas and the new year. This will let you get used to it over a few days so it’ll be easier to start with the new year and you’ll be more likely to stick to it!

Get a planner

You need to get a planner if you want to be successful this year and accomplish everything you want to. Having a planner will help you get everything done that you need to and remember important things. A planner will also help you plan our and track your goals throughout the year so you can reach every goal you set now at the beginning of the year!

Those are five steps that will help prepare you for the new year! If you follow these, you can be more successful and accomplish more than you ever have before! I hope you have an amazing end to 2016 and a great start to 2017!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
