When there are no words, music speaks. Music can fit any mood or experience you have. With the high use of music applications, such as Spotify or Apple Music, people have begun to not only find songs that resonate with them but playlist. A playlist is a list of songs that embody a whole mood, event, or just your favorite songs at the moment. But, there are definitely sure-fire ways to creating that perfect playlist. First and foremost, have a heart for music. Then, apply these few tips seamlessly enjoy your favorite songs.

1. Don’t just set the mood, create the mood

"Night drive", "pre-game", "study jams", "throwbacks" what do all of these titles have in common? They have a theme. Creating the mood of a playlist connects the audience to the music. It is important when adding songs to your playlist to keep the theme in mind. I usually create the playlist like I am specifically making it for the audience.

2. Finds song that fit the playlist, but you have never heard

Let's say you have created a alternative/ indie playlist. Of course you have your go to songs, but browse through other playlist, give them a listen, and find songs you have never heard. It is a guaranteed way to find your new favorite songs. My advice is look into your friends playlist. It is so fun to see similar taste but where they differ.

3. Constantly update your playlist

Do not let a playlist die! How I make sure to not let this happen is I follow "Release Radar" and "New Music Friday" on Spotify to make sure I add music that correlates with my existing playlist. Who knows, new music might inspire a new playlist idea. I would highly encourage updating once a week.

4. Try something new

It is easy to stick to a genre of music that you love but you never know what you might find when you branch out in the world of music. One way that I have started to expand my taste in music is making monthly playlist. I do not really set a theme for these to guarantee I add any music that simply catches my eye that month. I have stumbled upon some many genre I would not have even thought to explore because of these playlist.

5. Always have some classics

As any good playlist would have is some classics. Are you making an party playlist? Add "Get Low" by Yin Tang Twins and Lil Jon without a doubt. Making a alternative playlist? Add "Electric Feel" by MGMT. Those anthems here and there that people will belt at the top of their lungs is what really gets that mood going. Those go-to songs are for sure the cherry on top of a spot on playlist.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.

One Book Made Me Question Existence In Its Entirety

"The Stranger" by Albert Campus touches upon many heavy elements... but not in the way you expect. Although it touches upon the aspects of death and love, it also deals with a hidden philosophy similar to that of nihilism.

The story follows the short life events of Meursault, a Frenchman whose carelessness for his actions eventually ends him in jail and dependent on a jury of people to judge the ethicality of his decision and the punishment that he deserves. He eventually gets the death penalty and all throughout he is nonchalant and almost apathetic towards his situation. He finally snaps when the prison sends a priest to him to absolve him of his sins and to cajole him in confessing to the lord.
