It is okay to wonder how to make vape juice flavors on your own. The good news is, you do not need any degree in chemicals to prepare the best flavors. Making the juices is simple, depending on how careful you are. You can make the best moderate vape juice flavor by doing less.

You should prioritize safety while mixing the chemicals and the ingredients. It would be best to consider factors such as the volume of the juice needed, the anticipated flavor, and the available equipment. Furthermore, you can source the required equipment and ingredients easily hence making the procedure smooth.

Ingredients To Make Vape Juice Flavors

Making a vape juice flavor requires five key ingredients- vegetable glycerin, propylene glycol, e-juice flavor extract, water or vodka, and diluted nicotine. The nicotine may not be necessary since you only need it when you desire nicotine flavor in the vape juice.

You need to buy these ingredients from a reputable shop to avoid dangerous substances or low-quality solutions. It would be best to read these ingredients' labels, descriptions, properties, and characteristics to confirm they are the exact item you need.

The equipment you need for the process includes syringes/pipettes, measuring containers, empty storage plastic bottles, tissue paper or napkins, gloves, and goggles or face shields. You can get some of this equipment from stores that sell the best vape juice flavors, or you can order them online.

Caution When Preparing Your Vape Juice Flavor

Before you begin the process, ensure the area where you are preparing the juice is far from the reach of children or pets to avoid poisoning. Protect your eyes using the goggles and your face using the face shield. Ensure you put on the gloves and try as much as possible to ensure the mixture does not come into contact with your body.

This process should be simple since you have all the items ready-made; however, you need to be cautious about the volume of items in the mixture, and that is why you need measuring tools such as syringes.

Step 1: Prepare the Nicotine

Measure the appropriate volume of diluted nicotine to match the percentage you need in your e-juice. Use a syringe or a pipette to get the accurate volumes since excess nicotine can affect the flavor. You can add a few drops of vodka or distilled water to the solution. Vodka enhances the strength of the hits; hence it should complement the nicotine solution.

You should only add vodka when you need stronger hits; otherwise, you can use distilled water. If you do not need nicotine flavor, you can skip this part.

Step 2: Prepare The Flavors

Preparing flavors requires high accuracy and concentration, especially if you are making a new flavor. This step can mess up the entire juice or can produce the most desirable juice. Furthermore, you can either use one flavor or combine various flavors. Getting the exact flavor concentration can be challenging; therefore, start with a slightly lower flavor than recommended. You can taste to ensure the concentration is perfect. The flavor should be 10% of the total vape juice you want to make; hence you need to determine the required volumes of the juice before you begin mixing the ingredients.

If you are using artificial flavors, ensure the values are accurate and do not add more, even if it does not meet your required taste. Using artificial flavors is complex, but the final result will always resemble the desired taste. Adding too much of it ruins the taste and can produce a different taste.

Step 3: Prepare The Base

Depending on the recipe, you can either choose vegetable glycerin or propylene glycol. You can also mix them in the ratio 1:1 (equal levels) or the percentages 80/20. Diluted nicotine contains certain levels of vegetable glycerin and propylene glycol; hence you need to add slightly lower volumes of these solutions.

Step 4: Mix The Blend

After preparing all the above solutions in different containers, mix them in one bottle and shake until the solution mixes uniformly. If the content of vegetable glycerin is high, you need to shake the solution vigorously. Vape juice flavors with higher concentrations of vegetable glycerin are very thick hence the need for extreme shaking.

Step 5: Steep

You can steep the mixture or choose not to; however, vape juice flavors produce a better taste when steeped. You can try the vape juice to determine how good you are at preparing the flavors.

Store the vape juice in a cool dark place and ensure it is seal-tight to prevent oxidation.

Bottomline

Making your vape juice is simple and may save you a lot of money. It also gives you the freedom to be creative with your flavors. You can even start a business out of it but remember to be keen to avoid poisoning yourself or others.
