Ingredients
2 – 3 very ripe bananas, peeled
1/3 cups melted butter
1 tsp. baking soda
Pinch of salt
¾ cup sugar
1 large egg, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ½ cups of all purpose flour
Directions
1. Preheat Oven 350°F (175)°C
2. Butter 4” x 8” loaf pan
3. Mash ripe bananas with a fork until completely smooth
4. Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas
5. Mix in the baking soda and salt
6. Stir in sugar, beaten egg, vanilla extra
7. Mix in the flour
8. Pour the batter into prepared loaf pan
9. Bake for 50 minutes – 1 hour: test by inserting a toothpick into center and see if it comes out clean
10. Remove from oven and let completely cool on a rack
11. Remove banana bread from the pan
12. Slice and serve
