Live a Happier and More Fulfilling Life

What does it take to live a more fun and exciting life? We all want to live a remarkable life, but sometimes we don't know how to achieve it. You want to create your own life and feel happier every day. Living a life full of adventure has more to it than random luck. Create your lifestyle and live happier through following some guidelines.

Surround Yourself with Inspiring People

Anyone who wants to live a fun and inspiring life should choose people with values that they admire. Who you spend your time with will define your world, which means to choose wisely. Hanging out with someone who loves negativity and fights with others constantly can rub off on you. You must step outside your comfort zone to grow. Look for the fun and adventurous people who want to do exciting things like hang gliding in Greece or surfing in Mexico. You want to cut out or reduce the contact from people who don't bring you a positive return on your investment. Instead of shying away from activities that scare you, say yes to them. Our brains respond to and enjoy novel experiences.

Trade Penny Stocks

Nothing feels more exciting than putting some cash in penny stocks. You have the potential to win big if you play it right. You should, however, understand that it does come with its share of risks. Still, you can review a guide on learning how to do it successfully to earn big with them. Penny stocks count as anything under five dollars, and the stocks may include good companies that fell on hard times. Penny stocks may make sense for smaller trades where you want to experiment with investing. Finally, you can find a guide for trading penny stocks to learn how to trade better.

The Results Don't Matter

We should emphasize that the results matter to a degree, but who we become while doing an activity matters more than what we get. Learn how to become intrinsically motivated rather than extrinsically motivated. Intrinsically motivated means that you feel motivated by internal rewards rather than the external. Long after the results fade, we will have the memories, and we want to grow our capacities for improvement. This will also teach you that happiness is a choice and regardless of if you succeed or fail there are always opportunities to find a silver lining.

End on Strong Notes

Many times, we don't remember for how long we enjoyed an experience. Instead, we will remember the peaks and the endpoints in the experience. Ending on a positive note will make the experience feel better. This phenomenon explains how an otherwise positive experience can turn sour if it ends with a negative. Even the last few seconds can make a huge difference in how we see the experience overall. Having a fun night out, people often never want the experience to end. Because of that, they will try to extend it until it no longer becomes fun. Trying to extend it has the potential to spoil the whole experience. Ending an activity early on a positive note will have you wanting to come back to it, and it will leave you with positive memories.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
