We’ve all come across them, the Instagram Baddies: girls with mad street-style who look like they rule the world and get what they want. We don’t even know you, yet we aspire to be you. Bad news, it’s not possible to be another person, well, because you are you. The good news is that it’s easy to recreate the girl-on-the-street's look.

The outfit itself doesn’t need to be that complex because the details are what make it pop. A baseball tee is perfect because it keeps the look simple but still gives you shape and adds dimension to the outfit. This black and white baseball shirt is from Forever 21. Keep the bottom simple as well, aim for something black (a Baddie’s favorite color). These black leggings are from Victoria's Secret but any pair will do.

Now comes the fun part: the accessories. A flannel wrapped around the waist gives instant street cred. Go for a flannel with some color to accent the look. This one is mainly maroon with hints of blue and green which are perfect heading into fall.

A black choker necklace is almost essential for a baddie look. This one from PacSun has an opal gem on it for some bling but still keeps the punk feeling of the look. Sunglasses are also commonly seen on Instagram Baddies, so get your hands on your favorite stylea.

Aviators are one of the best styles because they give off a confident look without even trying. If needed, grab a purse to amp up the look. Stick with a neutral color so that the other accessories can pop. This gray purse from B-Live is perfect because it’s extremely chic but still maintains the overall look of a Baddie.

If you want to tie the look all together, go for braids! Boxer braids are the frosting on top to any Instagram Baddie look. Remember, just because you’re going for a Baddie look doesn’t mean you have a bad attitude! Step out of your comfort zone and try new trends. You could come across a new favorite style!

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

It's not all morning coffees and singing along to the radio.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
