The identical teenage twins Zack and Cody were experts in all things related to flirting an dating. So who else would we turn to when looking for expertise flirting advice than the professionals themselves. Here's what they would want us all to know:

1. The first step is to try and be someone you're not by changing your entire look.

People should like you for the person you pretend to be. No one likes an open, honest, and natural person because that would be boring and normal. The more extreme the change from your original self the better.

2. The next step is to be cool.

You want the first impression to go as well as possible, so be cool. It may seem awkward trying to be so cool, but trust me it'll work. People love others who act too cool for school. If you're questioning whether or not wear the grillz and the chain, wear them.

3. Then be extremely clingy right when you first meet.

Let them know your plans for marriage immediately. Tell them the ideas you have for your wedding together and that you would really prefer the proposal be soon. You can even begin to discuss where you should retire together. Maybe Florida or Turks and Caicos?

4. Again, the clingier the better.

When you get their number, make sure to call them right away and tell them how much you miss them. Maybe visit them at work too if they don't answer just to make sure they know you care. They will absolutely love this and not think it's creepy at all.

5. Never ever be subtle.

People love uncomfortably obvious flirting. Do whatever it takes to make sure they know you are interested. Maybe a huge gesture could work like tackling someone to the ground in a bear hug. Go big or go home.

6. Again, the more obvious your flirting the better.

If they look at you like you are weird and crazy that actually means they are interested. Keep up the overbearing hugs and copious amounts of love and affection. It will only make them like you more.

7. Remember people love it when you talk too much.

Make sure to assert that you are the one talking and only you. Talk as much as possible because people love not being able to say a word during conversation. This works like a charm every time.

8. Play hard to get.

Tell them that you actually don't want to be with them and that you would like to be forever alone. The more you emphasize you want to be left alone, the better. People love when you play hard to get and make a game out of it.

9. Lastly, practice your hair flips like Zack and Cody.

These twins were the masters of the hair flip. Try your best to flip that hair of yours like they did, and soon everyone will be begging for your love and attention. Although, no one will truly be able to flip their hair as well as Zack and Cody.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.
