The only way to accurately spend your fall break.

How To Fall Break

1. Spend one day binge-watching Netflix.

2. Take a bath (preferably with a bath bomb).

3. Read (for fun) before bed.

4. Go on a hike or run (yay neature).

5. Try out a vegan recipe.

6. Actually meet up with that friend you always say you will catch up with.

7. Call a friend you haven't talked to in a while.

8. Schedule those doctor's appointments that have been looming over your head.

9. Do some homework so you don't hate yourself on Monday.

10. Take about 47 pics of your pets so you will never run out of phone backgrounds.

11. Read about current events.

12. Spend some quality time just talking with your family.

13. Try learning a new instrument.

14. Practice a language you've always wanted to speak.

15. Travel to a city you've never been before.

16. Read ahead for every class.

17. Become an extremely disciplined person in every way.

18. Learn how to take control of every aspect of your life.

19. Completely change every bad habit you've acquired thus far in life.

20. Relax.

Okay, so although I started this list off seriously, I realized that I am probably not the only person that gives themselves unrealistic goals for every break. Numbers 13-19 I am being hyperbolic, but honestly, my "ideal fall break" would include these impractical objectives. Although it is important to push yourself to improve over breaks and throughout the school year, it is equally important to take the necessary break you mentally and physically need to excel once back in school. So please, try to use these next few days of break to relax and feel mentally-prepared to work hard again once back at school.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
