Are you or someone in your household very excited for the holidays this year?! Well, now you can help decorate and get in the mood for the season. You don't need to spend a lot of money but with these ideas, your room will still end up looking like Winter Wonderland!
1. Craft Your Own Tree
Can't find the perfect pine or fir tree? You can make one using string and tape to make whatever kind of tree your heart desires. Cut out circles from paper and stick those as ornaments on your tree. Add a star on the tip to add some glaze!
2. Dangling Treats
Don't want the little ones to munch and crunch away on the candy canes? You can still keep them in sight though by dangling them (sorry kids!) Decorate your room with them by looping the head of the cane with ribbon and taping the other side to the top of the door.
3. Let It Snow
Hit your favorite craft's store to glue some popsicle sticks together to make a snowflake. Use your creativity and symmetry to create a spectrum of snow. Paint it white and maybe add some sparkles to make it glamorous!
4. Turn Your Door Into A Snowman
Use paper-cut outs of simple blank circles and an orange, carrot triangle to welcome Frosty inside your house this cold, icy season. You can keep him even warmer by wrapping a stripped scrap around his neck!
5. Penguin Ornament
Have some old, fused light bulbs just laying around? Gather your black, white, orange and pink paint to let them transform. Paint them into a penguin and give it a new home on the tree so it can dangle and bedazzle! Add a ribbon to the head of the bulb to stick it onto the tree.
6. Wooden Sled
Use popsicle sticks, paint, and glue to make a couple of wooden sleds that the reindeer can land on this winter. Put them on a shelf in a line and just wait for Santa to come in through the chimney in no time!
